The Breweries sells the beverage in several stores that are classified like the wholesale and retail. Approximately 70% of sales are aimed at small retail outlets characterized by bars, bakeries and snack bars. As its distribution network is extensive, makes use of intermediaries to deliver their product to the consumer. Direct distribution from the factory to stores consumption and the distribution centers is also used by the segment. In order to contribute to the decision making of managers in the segment, this research proposed a methodology for locating distribution centers. Criteria have been established for analysis of location that are fundamental to the brewing industry. The general location of the centers was determined by a continuous model of nonlinear programming with the software implementation Lingo 11.0.1.6. As a basis for comparison of results was also utilized the Center of Gravity, which offered only the approximate location for a CD, while the Continuum Model presented the global optimal solution. To analyze the candidate cities with potential deployment of the distribution centers, a model was developed based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process. This research established the criteria for cities analysis that have potential to location of Centers and presented a model that determines the location area global optimum.
