Avaliação dos fatores intervenientes no uso de EPI’s, em obras de construção civil na cidade Campo Mourão – PR

Abstract

The construction industry is one of the sectors of economic activity that occurs most frequently accidents, the data indicate that approximately 355 000 fatal accidents that happen annually worldwide, about 20% occurred in civil works. By going through works in the city of Campo Mourao faced with workmen without the use of PPE, within this context, this paper aims to survey the main factors involved in the use of them and what requirements regarding your use and inspection by the responsible agencies. To achieve the objectives a survey was conducted through visits in 5 works midsize city and interviews with workers aided with a questionnaire to collect data. With respect to the data it can be concluded that the main reason is that 72% of workers do not use PPE for lack of availability, that means having no effective oversight officials settle and do not meet safety standards resulting risks for workers.
