dc.description.abstract | The main objective of this study is to present the development of a digital control applied to a three-phase hybrid rectifier with high power factor and power regeneration capability. It is a three-phase prototype with 380 V input voltage, 700 V output voltage, 10 kHz switching frequency and 20 kW rated output power. This study will present analysis and simulations of the circuit in order to achieve the benefits that the digital technology can offer, such as noise immunity, reduction of the thermal drift effect, reduction of the noise generation and increase of flexibility in the control. The development of a printed circuit board will also be presented. This board will perform the signal acquisition and conditioning before the signal reaches the Digital Signal Processor (DSP). To conclude, one of the digital control strategies was implemented in the DSP TMS320F28335 DelfinoTM (Texas Instruments) which made possible the comparison with these results with the analogical control applied to the same prototype. | |
