Apreciação de riscos sob a luz da NR 12 em uma máquina de uma serraria

Abstract

The consequences of an occupational accident go beyond the excessive burden of Social Security. Companies in search of greater financial gains, constantly reduce costs, especially the ones related to safety. Aiming to overcome this market practice, the Brasilian Ministry of Labour and Social Security submits companies to routine inspections and penalizes then with strict fines based on labor local laws. In this context, in the first place this research aims to apply a checklist based on NR 12 in a machine that make up the production process of a sawmill located in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba and then estimate the value of na assessment fined by a Labor Tax Auditor. For this, this research was divided into three phases beginning with a literature review based on relevant concepts contained in the NRs and NBRS. Secondly, based on NR 12, set up a checklist to be applied to the chosen machine. Finally, the checklist was applied on the chosen equipment. As a result, a fine estimated at R $ 253,852.76 with only 29.9% of items in accordance with NR 12, beyond the immediate suggestion of interdicting the rated equipment.
