dc.description.abstractThis paper presents an analysis of the political and methodological aspects of how to find the Youth and Adult Literacy today, based on the Literacy and literacy Municipal School Hector Furtado de Alencar de Assis Chateaubriand - PR. This paper discusses the importance of literacy for youth and adults, for the development of the subject in all aspects: human, social, economic and cultural. At first, we present a bibliographic study on the subject, with regard to the evolution of adult literacy over the years, more precisely, in the political and methodological. After, discusses a study conducted through a field research with students and teachers of literacy, in a qualitative way. The paper also describes the relationship between what can be observed in the literature, in the political, social and methodological with the exercise to practice in classrooms, in addition to addressing the legal issues that constitute literacy are indeed well as the main difficulties that the educational process is done with quality.
