dc.description.abstractEnvironmental risks are presents in every work activity, which may cause damage to workers' health. This case study on a beef slaughter refrigerator located in the Curitiba metropolitan area is to evaluate quantitatively and qualitatively the environmental risks present in the boning and boning packaging sectors. To obtain this quantitative assessment were three dosimetry, three temperature measurements and measuring illuminance on the evaluated jobs. The results of these measurements were analyzed and checked their normality in accordance with the relevant rules of tolerance limit of each agent. From these results, it was concluded that the sectors of boning and packaging boning feature high noise levels. Light deficiency in the job of cutting back and finally room temperature requires control measures. Therefore, it was concluded that all sectors have measured loudness levels above the tolerance limit and specifically the rear boning sector has illuminance intensity lower than that established by NBR 8995-1 2013.
