dc.description.abstractThe following essay means to study the impact of clothing and dress code over a female political candidate's imagery. For such, a bibliographical research was conducted regarding the importance of marketing, including politics marketing, as well as the importance of the image passed through clothing, and also its communication power. Additionally, the work included the current female participation in politics. An online questionnaire was made, and the results of which prove that most people believe that a candidate's dress code can in fact influence the electorate's decision. After that, an interview was made with women already acting in politics, which collaborated to the development of the collection.
