Brazil is one of the largest grain producers in the world and consequently what it needs most and uses harvesting machines for such activity. The cutting platforms of these machines are large equipment as they must be able to cover a wide area of under ground cutting sweep. As a result of their large dimensions, the cutting platforms should not be transported coupled to the harvesting machines, as they occupy a wide area transverse to the traffic roads, making their transportation dangerous. Thus, one way of transporting the cutting platforms is by using transport trailers that carry the platforms along the track longitudinally. Because these equipment are oversized and heavy, these transport trailers must be designed and scaled correctly to withstand the stresses that will come when loading the cutting deck on various types of terrain. Because of this, this work has as its objective the structural analysis of three different types of chassis for cutting platform transporters. Which will be analyzed using the finite element method through ANSYS software, applying loadings according to the platform masses and concepts related to flexion, torsion, displacements and buckling. And as a result it was found that due to the large dimensions presented in these structures, high flexural values and displacements are subject to happen and buckling analysis is indispensable for a safer structure dimensioning. Of all the data obtained from the analysis, two points are more relevant: as the ruler (part that makes the platform support and distributes the loads to the chassis) that presented high displacement values when the distance between the arms are large and possible failures due to buckling in those same regions and the second point was the rear region of the 30 foot model, which presented higher values of tension and isplacements, and in the fifth buckling mode a possible instability of the structure.
