| dc.description.abstract | Concrete technology is in increasing evolution, and in recent years, the study of the influence of aggregates on concrete has deserved many researches, particularly in the aspect of particle packing in order to increase the durability of concrete structures and to reduce the consumption of Cement, attending to economic and ecological aspects, as well as technicians. Among the different models of particle packing, the present analytical study of the models of Alfred, Toufar and De Larrard in order to verify the lowest available price model, therefore, reducing the consumption of cement, when compared to a concrete of Reference that meets as specifications of the Brazilian standards for an environmental aggression class II, which corresponds to a resistance of 25 MPa. With the results obtained, the concrete with greater resistance to compression and lower consumption of cement was analyzed, using the particle packaging model that consumes greater compactness and durability. | |
