dc.description.abstractThe objective of this work is to consider the limits and possibilities of pedagogical workshops for undergraduate students and faculty as a tool to the historical-documentary heritage dissemination. For this, we trace a brief history of the Public Archives to then discuss the cultural diffusion in archives and her educational activities. For this analysis it was used as primary sources the annual reports of the Center for Dissemination and Support for Research and of the Educational Action of the Public Archives of the State of São Paulo, complemented by individual reports of each workshop and by the relevant bibliography about the theme.
