dc.description.abstractThis study aims to analyze, according to the perception of managers, the main contributions of the evaluation of functional performance, in the decision making in the management of people. For this, a qualitative, descriptive research was carried out. The data were collected through interviews with the structured script, carried out with seven managers of a Credit Union located in the Southwest region of Paraná, Brazil, in January, 2018. The results were analyzed through Badin's Content analysis methodology 2006). As one of the results the divergence of perceptions among managers regarding the use of data obtained in the performance evaluation for people management. As well as the use of the results of the tool in a simplified way, considering the various possibilities that the Performance Evaluation offers, demonstrating that the Human Resources department is knowledgeable about the techniques, but they are not disseminated in the organization.
