dc.description.abstractThis paper describes the details and results of a study that investigated the use of multifunctional rail in the teaching and learning of movements structuring content. The target audience of our study were 20 third-year students of the Teacher Training Course for Early Childhood Education and Early Years of elementary school, the Integrated High School Normal mode. The survey was conducted for the preparation and application of two sequences Didactic, the first on the issues Uniform Movement and Movement Uniform Varied and the second with the subjects Releases Oblique and Horizontal. Data were collected through three questionnaires and the observations. For quantitative analysis the responses were classified into four categories, and each category is assigned a numeric value: zero, one, two and three. This numerical quantification possible to calculate the conceptual gain between before and after the application of didactic sequences. For the qualitative analysis were assigned three categories, according to Ausubel learning criteria: representational learning, learning concepts and propositional learning. These two analyzes revealed both the quantitative aspects and the qualitative, the didactic sequences were well accepted by the students, showing that the multifunctional rail in the context of the Movement Uniform content, Motion Uniform Miscellaneous, Oblique Release and Horizontal Release may be an alternative in the process teaching and learning of physics for high school.
