Desenvolvimento de um dispositivo para ensaio térmico de revestimento do tipo barreira térmica

Abstract

Data and information collection for heat interaction systems in thermal barrier coating (TBC) components, under the influence of substrate cooling, as in gas turbines and diesel engines, are usually expressed through models by simulations in software. The present work aims to obtain a device for thermal tests, using temperatures close to 1100 oC. For the validation of the tests in the device were used SAE 1020 carbon steel samples, thermal barrier coating with alumina, cooling systems with water at room temperature and air jets in the same condition. The prototype aimed at the analysis of the temperature in the substrate of the sample in a system analogous to the applications in turbine blades and in some components of diesel engines, which makes it possible, through the tests, to collect information for studies and development of technologies for thermal barrier coatings, substrate materials and cooling fluids.
