dc.description.abstractThe goal of this study is to propose and analyze strategies of teaching-learning in the firstlevels, which make development and comprehension of physics concepts possible, elucidating the importance and necessity of such concepts in the student’s daily lives. The pedagogical strategies were developed with children of the third year of the first cycle of basic education in a city-run school of Ponta Grossa, Paraná, where some topics about energy were presented. To work with such topics, projects were made, having as target to make the learning experience more contextualized, thus providing an integrating view between physics and other subjects. Therefore the gathering of data, resulting of the pedagogical practice application, was by means of applied research and the data were analyzed in a qualitative way. During the use of the strategy it was noticed that students showed more interest in learning and the results showed a positive response in the student’s acceptance and performance when discussing physics concepts. From the activities developed with the students, an educational product was created, constituted by a didactic manual, containing physics activity suggestions for children. The goal of the manual is that the teacher, no matter his area of knowledge, accepts the challenge of opening the minds of the students about Sciences, encouraging them to understand and think scientifically over the nature of their daily lives.
