dc.description.abstract | In the construction sector the quality control of products and services is done through supervision of works and testing of materials that require, in most cases, modern equipment and qualified professionals, where the most common method is the compressive strength the concrete, because this is one of the most important parameters of the structural design. However, in the performing this type of quality control, is despised the basic premise of the existence of reinforced concrete: adhesion between the concrete and the steel. To evaluate adherence there are several types of tests, and the most common is the pull out. After various studies, it was found that compressive strength of the concrete is essential factor for the adhesion between the materials. From this it was proposed a adaption of pull out test, called Apulot, which is performed using simple equipment, cheap and also, allows control of concrete is carried out on the construction site. Therefore, this study aimed develops and evaluate efficiency to estimate the strength of concrete through the adhesion stress obtained by the test, when it is executed with different diameters and lengths of adhesion, to relate resistance with the lengths. It was observed that for the same class of concrete, measurement the length increases, the estimated strength compression decreases, but the results have very proximity to the real values. Thus, the method can be used to perform the control of the concrete, since concrete class and the length of adhesion are determined an evaluated previously. | |
