dc.description.abstractThis work demonstrates in a practical and succinct way the use of the CVT exchange added to the vehicular electric traction system. An exchange was designed and built for a competition car named Force1 of the UTForce extension project at the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná Ponta Grossa campus, with the objective of increasing performance in SAE competitions. Simulations justified the project of the change that was manufactured and tested in an effective way to prove its efficiency. Through the tests carried out in loco, the system proved to be efficient with respect to its basic functionality, and may in the future admit specific improvements.
