O impacto social regional causado pela instalação de uma grande indústria em um município de pequeno porte

Abstract

The research had as a goal the study of the impact caused by the installation of huge industry in a city without industrial tradition. The subject has importance, because of constant industrialization in the cities. It was considerate: the social impact, the population lifestyle changes and also the economy activity of the studied city. Through documentary research the information about the city was achieved, it economy and the industry of case. Through field research, information about lifestyle by industry of case´s workers and also the population of region was investigated. The results suggest that the industry installation changed the city´s economy, modifing more and more into a Service city. It´s possible to perceive that after the industry installation the number of service job and store have increased a great deal. All the population of the city have been influenced by the industry of case installation, however part of the population didn´t realized it; only close employees agree with change of lifestyle after they started the factory job.
