This study aimed to evaluate the effect of the compound to base of algae in ovo in the embryonic development of broiler chickens. The inoculation of the nutrient was performed after 18 days of incubation, when transfer of the eggs to the hatcher. Eggs from breeders with 38 weeks of age. On the day of inoculation passed by candling the eggs they were weighed and grouped according to treatment and performed well inoculation with glucose solution (50%), algae-based compound, and mixing the nutrients described. The design was completely randomized with 8 treatments and 10 repetitions / treatment. The treatments were: T1: intact egg (HI); T2: perforated egg (OP) without inoculation; T3: eggs inoculated with 0.5 ml of glucose; T4: eggs inoculated with 0.4 ml glucose + 0.1 ml algae-based compound; T5: egg inoculated with 0.3 ml of glucose + 0.2 ml of algae-based compound; T6: eggs inoculated with 0.2 ml glucose + 0.3 ml algae-based compound; T7: eggs inoculated with 0.1 ml glucose + 0.4 ml algae-based compound; T8: eggs inoculated with 0.5 ml of compound to base algae. Inoculations performed at 18 days of incubation did not achieve significant results. However, the nutrients in ovo inoculation is a technique being used in the poultry industry, therefore, new studies have yet to be developed on the intuition of a nutrient set or product may be used commercially.
