dc.description.abstractThe concepts involved are currently in Linear Algebra very useful tools in several areas of mathematics,and also outside. The main objective of this work is to study some of the fundamental concepts of linear algebra in order to further their application in other areas. We finished the work by applying the concepts of eigenvalues and eigenvectors of matrices and power to investigate the spread of an inherited trait in successive generations computing powers of matrices.
