Microgrids como forma de integração da geração distribuída fotovoltaica

Abstract

This research presents the concept of a microgrid in the context of the smart grids. The microgrids are also characterized as constructive blocks of the smart grids, therefor is presented an approach theoretical and conceptual of this model as well as the principles of the microgrids in the Brazilian energy distribution system. Differently from the distribution grid with distributed energy resources, the microgrid differentiates by the key element of the control. This way, the research demonstrated the possibilities for the integration of the photovoltaic distributed energy allied with the energy storage, subject of an research and development strategic call from ANEEL (P&D 021/2016), exploring the challenges and opportunities of the intermittency from photovoltaic distributed energy that are in current expansion in Brazil.
