dc.descriptionThis paper takes as reference the hidden role that has had the female figure in the course of the history of Venezuela. For this reason, it is to analyze its participation over time. In the historical aspect highlights the participation of a group of women who dedicated themselves to fight for the emancipation of the country. Meanwhile, in the social field women has been classified as a wife and mother, hidden leaving skills also capabilities that these might possess, forcing them to maintain a double life, because to be accepted in society many women were engaged to domestic and in some cases work dressed like men to study and participate in the arduous struggle for independence. It is important that the Venezuelan historiography enhance the participation of the female figure through articles, lectures, symposia, forums, among others.en-US
dc.descriptionSe toma como referencia el protagonismo oculto de la figura femenina en el transcurso de la historia de Venezuela. Se tiene como objetivo analizar su participación a lo largo del tiempo. En el aspecto histórico resalta la participación de un grupo de mujeres que se dedicaron a luchar en pro de la emancipación del país. Por su parte, en el ámbito social la mujer ha sido catalogada como esposa y madre, dejando oculto las habilidades, además, capacidades que estas pudieran poseer, obligándolas a mantener una doble vida, puesto que para ser aceptadas en la sociedad muchas mujeres se dedicaban a labores domésticas yen algunos casos vestían como hombres para realizar estudios y participar en la ardua lucha independentista. Es importante que la historiografía venezolana realcé la participación de la figura femenina a través de artículos, ponencias, simposios, foros, entre otros.es-ES
