| dc.description | La hiperestesia dentinaria es muy común en el servicio de urgencia de nuestra consulta dental. Los objetivos de la investigación fueron evaluar el tiempo de remisión de los síntomas de la hiperestesia dentinaria según el medicamento aplicado y la edad del paciente e identificar la presencia de síntomas de hiperestesia dentinaria pasados seis meses del tratamiento según el medicamento aplicado. Se realizó un estudio de intervención terapéutica en 30 pacientes con hiperestesia dentinaria en la Facultad de Estomatología de La Habana entre septiembre 2012 y marzo 2014. Se aplicó Tisuacryl en una hemiarcada y Barniz Copal en la otra hemiarcada del mismo paciente (N=30), trabajándose con toda la población. Después de 24 horas de la primera aplicación ningún paciente tratado con Barniz Copal respondió al tratamiento y 6 hemiarcadas para un (20%) de los tratados con Tisuacryl remitieron la sintomatología. Después de tres aplicaciones, 13 de las hemiarcadas (43.3%) tratadas con Tisuacryl respondieron favorable y 12 hemiarcadas de los tratados con Barniz Copal (40%) lo hicieron también. En el último control a las 120 horas solo quedaban con sintomatología 1 hemiarcada (3.33%) de las tratadas con Tisuacryl y 14 de las tratadas con Barniz Copal (46.67%). Los jóvenes respondieron más tardíamente al tratamiento con ambos medicamentos. Se concluyó que el Tisuacryl es efectivo en el tratamiento de la hiperestesia dentinaria, mostrando mejores resultados que Barniz Copal. | |
| dc.description | The Dentin Hipersensitivity is very common in the urgency service of our dental surgery. The objectives was to evaluate the time of remission of symptoms of Dentin Hypersensitivity by medication and age. To identifier the presence of symptoms of Dentin Hypersensitivity after six month. It came true an intervention therapeutic study in September 2012 to March 2014, in the School of Dentistry, Medical Science University of Havana. The sign was compose for 30 patients. Tisuacryl was applies on one hemimaxilla and Varnish Copal on other hemimaxilla in the same patient (N = 30), was worked with the entire population. The results after 24 hours of the first application to any patient treated with Varnish Copal did not answer to treatment and 6 hemimaxilla treated with Tisuacryl finished the symptoms to (20%). After third applications 13 to (43.3%) of those treated with Tisuacryl hemimaxilla responded favorably and 12 to (40%) treated with Varnish Copal did too. At the last 120 hours were only symptomatic 1 hemimaxilla of treated with Tisuacryl to (3.33%) and 14 treated with Varnish Copal to (46.67%). The universe was worked up with all. After 24 hours of the first application anyone patient with Vanish Copal answered to the treatment and (20%) of patients with Tisuacryl answered to the treatment. After the third application (100%) almost of the patient with Tisuacryl answered to the treatment and (100%) of the patients with varnish copal answered to the treatment at 120 hours. Answering young people more too late to the treatment with both medications. Tisuacryl has a great therapeutic efficacy in the treatment of Dentin Hypersensitivity, it having more results than Varnish Copal. | |
