dc.descriptionEste artículo es un estudio de tipo inductivo con intención premonitoria de anticipar los potenciales problemas económicos a los cuales se puede enfrentar Guinea Ecuatorial en los años venideros. El análisis relaciona, por lo tanto, el pasado (crisis económica por tener la agricultura como único fundamento económico) y el presente (con una economía esencialmente petrolífera) para predecir un futuro inesperado. Muestra que tal como se presenta la economía actual con fundamento unívoco, no deja lugar sino a una crisis económica y social; es decir, que el monopolio de los hidrocarburos predestina al país a la enfermedad holandesa.
dc.descriptionTh is paper is an inductive study with a prescient intention to anticipate the potential economic problems that Equatorial Guinea may face in the coming years. Th e analysis therefore relates the past (economic crisis due to having agriculture as the only economic foundation) and the present (with an essentially oil-bearing economy) to predict an unexpected future. It shows that, as the current economy is presented with a univocal foundation, it leaves no room but for an economic and social crisis; in other words, the hydrocarbon monopoly, predestines the country to the Dutch disease.
