dc.descriptionThis article aims to analyze the safety and health work as a strategy for organizationalproductivity in construction enterprises, supporting theoretical contributions Chiavenato(2009); Davis and Newstrom (2007); Gonzalez (2009), Lopez (2009), among others.Methodologically, the type of research was analytical, descriptive and documentary, usinginformation for compiling the technical literature under the review of print and electronicsources about the topic under study. To conclude, safety and hygiene, plus help tosafeguard the physical and mental integrity of employees in their workspaces, it helpsprotect the assets of the company, constituting a requirement regulated by laws, whichshould be considered as a strategy to achieve productivity both individual andorganizational, because to prevent the occurrence of accidents and preserve the health ofworkers, the use of time and resources used to develop their activities without interruptionis maximized, being necessary to train them in risk prevention also promote teamworkamong employees, managers and supervisors, to ensure the well-being through a securephysical environment and motivator towards the quality of life for all in constructioncompaniesen-US
dc.descriptionEl presente artículo tiene como finalidad analizar la seguridad e higiene laboral comoestrategia de la productividad organizacional en empresas de construcción,sustentándose en aportes teóricos de Chiavenato (2009); Davis y Newstrom (2007);González (2009), López (2009), entre otros. Metodológicamente, el tipo de investigaciónfue analítica, descriptiva y documental, recurriendo para la compilación de información ala técnica bibliográfica, bajo la revisión de fuentes impresas y electrónicas acerca del temaobjeto de estudio. A manera de conclusión, la seguridad e higiene laboral, además decoadyuvar a salvaguardar la integridad física y mental de los colaboradores en susespacios de trabajos, ayuda a proteger el patrimonio de la empresa, constituyendo unaexigencia regulada por leyes, el cual debe contemplarse como una estrategia para lograrla productividad tanto individual como organizacional, debido a que al prevenir laocurrencia de accidentes y preservar la salud del trabajador, se maximiza el uso de sutiempo y los recursos utilizados para desarrollar sus actividades sin interrupciones, siendonecesario capacitarlos en la prevención de riesgos, asimismo promover el trabajo enequipo entre colaboradores, jefes y supervisores, a fin de garantizar el bienestar medianteun ambiente físico seguro y motivador en pro de la calidad de vida de todos en lasempresas de construcción.es-ES
