dc.descriptionThe current situation of the planet, related to the environmental deterioration, worrisome for society; referring to the neglect of this as a result of the use of plastic (PET) to produce bottles and other containers, commits human beings to seek solutions to alleviate this problem of global scope. In this sense, this paper examines the viability of the venture aimed at manufacturing and distributing a plastic bio-recycling machine (PET) in Azogues-Ecuador. The methodology, is the case study with a quantitative approach, presenting an exploratory and descriptive research. The viability of the project is shown through its formulation, which included preliminary pre-feasibility (market, technical-economic) and feasibility studies (financial and budgetary). Fundamental factors are the theoretical support and data provided by UNEP (2019), Espinoza (2006); Manzilla-Pérez and Ruiz-Ruiz (2009), Rivera (2004), Hidalgo (2018), Pilatasing and Pozo (2014), Hachi and Rodriguez (2010), Quevedo et al (2019); as well as the consultation of stakeholders. It concludes on the need to promote alternatives that reduce the impact of this material on the planet, such is the case of bio-recycling machines; modern and technological venture that in addition to fulfilling its objective with the environment will help stimulate and strengthen the culture of recycling in society. The research shows a real opportunity for entrepreneurship, based on economic and financial calculations, on the unsatisfied demand and the willingness of local organizations to acquire it.en-US
dc.descriptionLa situación actual del planeta, relacionada con el deterioro medio ambiental, es preocupante para la sociedad; referirse al descuido de éste como resultado del uso del plástico (PET) para elaborar botellas y otros envases, compromete a los seres humanos a buscar soluciones para aliviar este problema de alcance mundial. En este sentido, el presente trabajo examina la viabilidad del emprendimiento dirigido a fabricar y distribuir una maquina bio-recicladora de plástico (PET) en Azogues-Ecuador. La metodología, es el estudio de caso con enfoque cuantitativo, presentando una investigación exploratoria y descriptiva. Se muestra la viabilidad del proyecto por medio de su formulación, que incluyó estudios preliminares de pre-factibilidad (Mercado, Técnico-económico) y de factibilidad (financiero y presupuestal). Factores fundamentales son el soporte teórico y datos aportados por PNUMA (2019), Espinoza (2006); Manzilla-Pérez y Ruiz-Ruiz (2009), Rivera (2004), Hidalgo (2018), Pilatasing y Pozo (2014), Hachi y Rodriguez (2010), Quevedo et al (2019); así como la consulta a los actores involucrados. Se concluye sobre la necesidad de impulsar alternativas que aminoren el impacto de este material sobre el planeta, tal es el caso de las maquinas bio-recicladoras; emprendimiento moderno y tecnológico que además de cumplir su objetivo con el medio ambiente ayudará a estimular y afianzar en la sociedad la cultura del reciclaje. La investigación muestra una oportunidad real de emprendimiento, sustentada en cálculos económicos y financieros, en la demanda insatisfecha y la disposición de las organizaciones locales para adquirirla.es-ES
