| dc.description | This article analyzes the convergent ideas of Matthew Lipman and Paulo Freire regarding the mistakes of standard or banking education, as well as the role that both of them give to the dialogic relationship in the holistic education of the learner. Oriented toward applying qualitative observation techniques to documents from bibliographical sources (Lipman, 1998; Freire, 1986,1994; Lipman, Sharp, Oscanyan, 1998), this paper concluded that the experience of the research community could contribute to learner’s education in citizens’ values by introducing two teaching principles suggested by Freire (1986, 1994) into those communities: the pedagogy of the question and active silence. | en-US |
| dc.description | Se analiza la posición convergente de Matthew Lipman y Paulo Freire al diagnosticar los desaciertos de la educación estándar o bancaria, así como el papel que ellos le asignan a la relación dialógica en la formación integral del educando. Orientada por la aplicación de técnicas cualitativas de observación documental en fuentes bibliográficas (Lipman, 1998; Freire, 1986,1994; Lipman, Sharp, Oscanyan, 1998), el presente trabajo concluye que la experiencia de la comunidad de investigación puede contribuir a la formación del educando en valores ciudadanos, mediante la introducción en dicha comunidad de dos principios pedagógicos aportados por Freire: la pedagogía de la pregunta y el silencio activo. | es-ES |
