Reflexionar sobre su persona y sus hechos; aprender de sus virtudes y de sus dudas, de sus invenciones, es   el mejor homenaje que podemos hacer a quien tuvo como rasgos principales de su carácter el amor por la tierra y la familia, el ansia de saber y de cultura, y el deseo de colaborar a construir un gran Barquisimeto.
