dc.descriptionThis work is framed in a quantitative research, based on a study of descriptive field, in order to analyze the contribution of organized group student Amautasminga Program Higher Agricultural Technology at UCLA, in promoting environmental education in the Carora community of the municipality Towers. The study subjects were represented by thirty-five students belonging to Amautasminga group who were administered a standard questionnaire instrument structured for forty items each with three alternative answers: always (S) Sometimes (AV) and Never (N). This instrument was validated through expert judgment and statistical reliability was used Cronbach alpha coefficient, obtaining a value of 0.94. The results were analyzed according to the criteria of descriptive statistics, estimating absolute and percentage frequencies and the simple average for response options, which reflects that the majority of students in the group expressed own environmental sensitivity and high concern for developing  projects with focus Environmental contributing to preserving the environment, also active in the promotion of environmental education to help environmental conservation and integrate Carora communities in solving social and environmental problems in the environment where they make active life.en-US
dc.descriptionEl presente trabajo está enmarcado en una investigación cuantitativa, sustentado en un estudio de campo tipo descriptivo, con el propósito de analizar el aporte del grupo organizado estudiantil Amautasminga del Programa de Tecnología Superior Agropecuaria de la UCLA, en la promoción de la Educación Ambiental en la comunidad de Carora del municipio Torres. Los sujetos de estudio quedaron representados por treinta y cinco estudiantes, pertenecientes al grupo Amautasminga, a quienes se les aplicó un instrumento tipo cuestionario estructurado por cuarenta ítemes cada uno y con tres alternativas de respuestas: Siempre (S), Algunas veces (AV) y Nunca (N). Dicho instrumento fue validado a través de juicio de expertos y el estadístico de confiabilidad utilizado fue el coeficiente Alpha de Cronbach, obteniéndose un valor de 0,94. Los resultados se analizaron según los criterios de la estadística descriptiva, estimando frecuencias absolutas y porcentuales y el promedio aritmético por opciones de respuestas, donde se refleja que la mayoría de los estudiantes del grupo manifestaron poseer sensibilidad ambiental y una alta preocupación por desarrollar proyectos con enfoque ambiental que contribuyen a preservar el ambiente, asimismo participan activamente en la promoción de la educación ambiental para ayudar a la conservación del medio e integrar a las comunidades de Carora, en la solución de los problemas socio ambientales presentes en el entorno donde hacen vida activa.es-ES
