| dc.description | This observational retrospective study’s how’s that the most common diseases founding the ”San Francisco Xavier” University Hospital in the period July 2008 to June 2010. The most prevalent pathologies with facial trauma were followed by maxillo facial infections, oral surgery, ATM disorders, dento facial deformities and maxillo facial tumors. These results coincide with the global statistics revealing the importance of Maxillo facial Surgery Service at hospitals in second and third level. | en-US |
| dc.description | Este trabajo retrospectivo observacional muestra las patologías más frecuentes que se encontraron en el Hospital Universitario, en el periodo comprendido de Julio 2008 a Junio de 2010. Las patologías con más prevalencia fueron los traumatismos faciales, seguido de infecciones maxilofaciales, cirugías bucales, trastornos de la ATM, malformaciones dentofaciales y tumores maxilofaciales. Estos resultados coinciden con la estadística mundial, relevando la importancia de contar con el Servicio de Cirugía Maxilofacial en los Hospitales de segundo y tercer nivel de nuestro departamento. | es-ES |
