La institucionalización y legitimación de los estudios universitarios en Educación Física. El caso de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (Argentina, 1953)

dc.descriptionIn this article we historically reconstruct the institutionalization of Physical Education (EF) in Argentina since the 1950s. To do this, we return to the origins of the EF careers within the framework of two “traditional” national universities such as La Plata and Tucumán, its outgoing features, main actors and training profiles, and then stop at the EF of the National University of La Plata (UNLP). The analysis is based on secondary sources, interviews and the founding act, to replenish the different positions of the actors, and the problem of their relevance, relevance and legitimacy. This reconstruction will allow us to understand how this problem was processed at the UNLP in the context of the creation of the race in the 50’s of the 20th century.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este artículo reconstruimos históricamente la institucionalización universitaria de la Educación Física (EF) en Argentina a partir de la década de 1950. Para ello, retomamos los orígenes de las carreras de EF en el marco de dos universidades nacionales “tradicionales”2 como La Plata y Tucumán, sus rasgos salientes, actores principales y perfiles de formación, para luego detenernos en la EF de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP). El análisis está basado en fuentes secundarias, entrevistas y el acta fundacional, para reponer las distintas posiciones de los actores, y el problema de su pertinencia, relevancia y legitimidad. Esta reconstrucción nos permitirá comprender cómo fue procesado ese problema en la UNLP en el contexto de creación de la carrera en la década del ’50 del siglo XX.es-ES
