Registro, catalogación y protección : arquitectura del Movimiento Moderno de Misiones. Movimiento Moderno Argentino y provincia de Misiones, mutuo beneficio

Abstract

La extendida tendencia de adaptar los edificios de la modernidad a nuevos usos reclama una atención urgente sobre mejores modos de intervención para asegurar a las futuras generaciones la posibilidad de disfrutar de las excepcionales cualidades de esta arquitectura. La investigación, fichaje y documentación del Patrimonio del Movimiento Moderno son en la actualidad actividades emprendidas a nivel universitario en correspondencia con su tratamiento internacional por organismos tales como UNESCO y, en el caso que nos ocupa, por DO.CO.MO.MO, la cual nosotros integramos en el presente proyecto. Ese es el interés que incita a esta investigación: acercar al conocimiento y a la práctica docente y profesional nuevas fuentes de información que permitan a su vez impulsar de manera efectiva la valorización de este patrimonio arquitectónico riquísimo que acompañó firmemente el proceso de provincialización en relación con el patrimonio, la identidad y el consiguiente orgullo de la pertenencia.

The widespread tendency to adapt the buildings of modernity to new uses calls for urgent attention on better modes of intervention, to assure future generations the possibility of enjoying the exceptional qualities of this architecture. The research, registration and documentation of the Patrimony of the Modern Movement is currently one of the activities undertaken at university level in correspondence with its international treatment by bodies such as UNESCO and in the case of DO.CO.MO.MO and that we integrate in the present project. That is the interest that prompts this research: to bring to the knowledge and practice of teaching and professional, new sources of information that allow in turn to effectively promote the valuation of this rich architectural heritage that accompanied firmly the process of provincialization with regard to heritage, the identity and the consequent pride of belonging.
