| dc.description | In 1924 the writer Samuel Glusberg published La levita gris. Cuentos judíos de ambiente porteño, becoming one of the initiators of the Jewish-Argentine literature on urban themes. In this book, it could be read stories about the integration of Jewish characters in the new set of Buenos Aires, about theirs conflicts with the «criollos» and within the same ethno-cultural community, and about the desire of young people to establish a new belonging. The purpose of this paper is to describe the point of view from which the narrators tell these stories and to focus on the fictional construction of their place of enunciation as a «space in between» and on textual operations that constitute the narrative in a place of negotiation between different linguistic-cultural perspectives. To this end, we will analyze several discursive resources that make the narrator a cultural mediator, such as code-switching, selective use of ethnic markers, and displacement of viewpoint between Jewish characters and «criollos» characters. | en-US |
| dc.description | En 1924 el escritor Samuel Glusberg dio a conocer su libro La levita gris. Cuentos judíos de ambiente porteño constituyéndose así en uno de los iniciadores de la literatura judeoargentina de temática urbana. En sus páginas podían leerse historias sobre la integración de los personajes judíos a la nueva cultura porteña, sobre los conflictos con los «criollos» y en el interior de la misma comunidad étnico-cultural, y sobre el deseo de los jóvenes de constituir una nueva pertenencia.En este trabajo nos proponemos caracterizar el punto de vista desde el cual los narradores relatan estas historias atendiendo a la construcción ficcional de su lugar de enunciación como un espacio de frontera y a las operaciones textuales que constituyen su narración en un medio de negociación de perspectivas lingüístico-culturales. Con este fin, se analizaran los diferentes recursos discursivos que tornan al narrador en un mediador cultural deteniéndonos particularmente en la alternancia de lenguas, el uso selectivo de marcadores étnicos y los desplazamientos del punto de vista entre personajes judíos y «criollos». | es-ES |
