dc.descriptionThis article studies the female agency in the framework of the Buen Pastor de Angers Congregation in the city of Cordoba at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. Through a review of the process of construction of the building in which the congregation was to carry out its tasks -novitiate and management of the Cárcel Correccional de Mujeres y Asilo de Menores del Buen Pastor- it is possible to identify several instances of agency that put the congregation in the role of protagonists of a correctional project. Arguing that the management of the correctional institution allowed the congregation a double insertion -state and religious- we analyze the use it makes of these inscriptions, putting into play the social capital that allows it, in a short time, to realize the construction of the building.en-US
dc.descriptionEn este artículo se retoma la agencia femenina en el marco de la Congregación del Buen Pastor de Angers, en la ciudad de Córdoba a fines del siglo XIX y principios del siglo XX. A través de un estudio del proceso de construcción del edificio en el que la congregación iba a desempeñar sus tareas -de noviciado y de gestión de la Cárcel Correccional de Mujeres y Asilo de Menores del Buen Pastor- es posible identificar diversas instancias de agenciamiento que ponen a la misma en el lugar de protagonista de un proyecto correccional. Argumentando que, la gestión de la institución correccional le posibilitó, a la congregacioń una doble inserción -estatal y religiosa- se analiza el uso que la misma hace de estas inscripciones, poniendo a jugar en capital social que le permite, en poco tiempo, concretar la construcción del edificio.es-ES
