| dc.description | La introducción del artículo de investigación cumple con el propósito comunicativo de presentar el trabajo ydespertar el interés del lector. Para ello, los investigadores describen la argumentación y la justificación mediantemarcas lingüísticas. En la presente investigación, se estudia la organización retórica de las introducciones con el fin deidentificar los patrones discursivos utilizados por los investigadores en el ámbito de la ingeniería, puesto que es un áreade exploración importante en vista de los objetivos retóricos que allí se proponen (Swales,1990) y de esta maneracontribuir al análisis del discurso académico- científico y a la enseñanza de la escritura académica en el área científica.Se toma como base teórico-metodológica los planteamientos del modelo CARS (Swales,1990). El corpus estuvoconstituido por 70 artículos de investigación sobre Ingeniería de la Revista Politécnica, publicación científica de la“Escuela Politécnica Nacional” de la ciudad de Quito - Ecuador. Los resultados muestran una tendencia en losinvestigadores (59% Química y 53% Electrónica) a organizar la introducción mediante los tres movimientos retóricosen una secuencia diferente al modelo CARS, debido a la incorporación de nuevos pasos, la justificación y la metodología.El paso “indicar el vacío” se constituyó en un paso obligatorio en el corpus (96.30% en Química y 95.35% enElectrónica). Se constata la complejidad del lenguaje en estas disciplinas. The introduction of the research article meets the communicative purpose of presenting the work and arousing thereader's interest. To do so, researchers describe the argument and justification using linguistic marks. In this research,the rhetorical organization of introductions was studied in order to identify discursive patterns used by researchers inthe field of engineering since it is an important exploration area because of the rhetorical objectives that are proposedthere and in this way contribute to the analysis of academic-scientific discourse and teaching of academic writing in thescientific area. It is based on the theoretical and methodological approaches of the CARS model (Swales, 1990). Thecorpus consisted of 70 research articles on Electronics and Chemical Engineering of the Politecnica Journal, a scientificjournal of the "Escuela Politécnica Nacional" in Quito, Ecuador. The results show a researchers' trend (59% in Chemistryand 53% in Electronics) to organize the introduction by the three rhetorical moves in a different sequence from the CARSmodel, due to the incorporation of new steps, the justification, and methodology. The step "indicating a gap" becameobligatory in this corpus (96.30% in Chemistry and 95.35% in Electronics). The complexity of the language in thesedisciplines was evidenced. | es-ES |
