dc.descriptionWe present a case of high complexity of assisted implant prosthesis replacing the metal by a semicrystalline linear polycyclic thermoplastic material such as polyetheretherketone PEEK that has been proposed for the manufacture of hybrids or protocols in implantology. This article summarizes the current research on the applications of PEEK in dental implants, especially for the improvement of the surface and body modifications of PEEK. This article is about a clinical case of a male patient who was treated as a superior protocol with PEEK structure and free metal crowns.en-US
dc.descriptionSe presenta un caso de alta complejidad de prótesis implanto asistida, reemplazando el metal por un material termoplástico policíclico lineal semicristalino como el polieteretercetona PEEK que se ha propuesto para la fabricación de hibridas o protocolos en implantología. Este artículo resume las investigaciones actuales sobre las aplicaciones de PEEK en implantes dentales, especialmente para la mejora de las modificaciones de la superficie y del cuerpo de PEEK. A propósito de un caso clínico en un paciente de sexo masculino en el que se realizó como tratamiento un protocolo superior con estructura PEEK y coronas libres de metal.es-ES
