| dc.description | La escrotoquisis es una anomalía congénita extremadamente rara de la pared escrotal, de etiología desconocida; hay soloaproximadamente treinta casos publicadas, ninguno in extenso en latinoamérica. consiste en extrusión testicular fuera del saco escrotal, uni o bilateralmente. Se presenta el caso de neonato, obtenido por parto vaginal. se evidenciaron ambos testículos exteriorizados a cada lado del rafe escrotal, envueltos en túnica vaginal y pendiendo del cordón espermático. Se realiza intervención quirúrgica encontrándose: testículos de coloración normal, envueltos en fibrina. técnica quirúrgica: reconfección del tabique escrotal, introducción de testículos a bolsas escrotales, pexia y cierre de escroto en un plano. evolución sin complicaciones postoperatorias y en controles ulteriores, con ecografía doppler testicular normal. esta patología es congénita con alteración del desarrollo embriológico. El pronóstico es bueno si la resolución médico-quirúrgica es precoz y adecuada. A largo plazo se podría conocer eventual repercusión sobre la capacidad reproductiva.
Scrotoschisis is an infrequent idiopathic anomaly of the scrotal wall; only thirty cases have been reported, none in latin America. The testicle(s) is extruded out of the scrotum, uni or bilateral, through an opening in the scrotum wall. we report a case of bilateralscrotosquisis in a neonate product of a vaginal delivery. examination showed testicles exteriorized through two holes located on each side of the raphe, both in the individual vaginal tunica, and pendant of its spermatic cord. Surgical intervention, with colocation of testes into de scrotum and pexia and closure of the escrotum in one layer was done. Favorable evolution and normal testicular doppler ultrasound in outpatient clinic. Information about scrotoschisis is limited, and it is inferred that is an alteration of the embryological developmental. Prognosis is excellent and reproductive capacity should be evaluated in the long-term basis. | es-ES |
