dc.descriptionEl conocimiento científico, ligado a la historia del mundo moderno, compartió la estructura racista y prejuiciosa de las sociedades europeas donde se institucionalizó. Ha sido solo en los últimos cincuenta años cuando las ciencias sociales en los países dominantes descubrieron que había un mundo social, más allá de los Estados-nación, que no podían seguirignorando. Actualmente se han incrementado y visibilizado voces múltiples en el campo global de las ciencias sociales. El trasnacionalismo, como diálogo prudente capaz de negociar acuerdos mínimos y progresivos entre gente de diversos orígenes que comparten los mismos espacios, puede favorecer el avance de las ciencias sociales en un espíritu de mayor simetría y apertura para lograr colaboraciones que permitan enfrentar los grandes desafíos del presente. AbstractScientific knowledge, linked to the history of the modern world, shared the racist and prejudiced structure of the European societies where it was institutionalized. It was only in the last fifty years that the social sciences in the dominant countries discovered that there was a social world beyond the nation-states that they could no longer ignore. Today, multiple voices have increased and become visible in the global field of social sciences. Transnationalism, as a prudent dialogue capable of negotiating minimal and progressive agreements between people of diverse origins who share the same spaces, can allow the social sciences to advance in a spirit of greater symmetry and openness in order to achieve collaborations capable of making possible to face the great challenges of the present.es-ES
