dc.descriptionA raíz del accidente aéreo que sacudió al país el pasado 21 de febrero del año 2008 en el estado Mérida, se observó que, a nivel comunicacional, en Venezuela se ofrece un tratamiento informativo sobre los desastres aéreos que tiende al amarillismo. Dada la importancia mediática de los accidentes aéreos a nivel comunicacional, la investigación tuvo como propósito documentar y analizar el tratamiento informativo dado por el diario Últimas Noticias, uno de los más importantes del país, a tres accidentes, que a juicio del investigador, son los mas relevantes en la historia aérea de Venezuela a lo largo de 50 años (1948-2008).
