| dc.description | Este texto tem em vista analisar a expansão chinesa em África, buscando entender o seu impacto no desenvolvimento de países africanos. Também procura entender por que a China, a partir de um dado momento, se torna um parceiro de cooperação preferido pelos países africanos a despeito dos parceiros tradicionais de cooperação (ocidente). O texto procura responder às seguintes indagações: Até que ponto a cooperação China-África pode ser benéfica para o desenvolvimento do continente africano comparada aos modelos de desenvolvimento imposto pelo ocidente? Poderia o modelo chinês ser alternativa ao criticado modelo tradicional de cooperação ocidental? Do ponto de vista metodológico, a revisão bibliográfica, bem como a análise de alguns documentos (o relatório da Africa Progress Report e o relatório publicado pelo AfriMAP – Africa Governance, Monitoring and Advocacy Project) são a principal base de sustentação das ideias que se procuram defender no presente texto. | |
| dc.description | This text aims to analyze the Chinese expansion in Africa, seeking to understand their impact on the development of African countries. It also seeks to understand why China, from a given time, becomes a preferred cooperation partner for African countries despite the traditional cooperation partners (West). The text seeks to answer the following questions: To what extent can China-Africa cooperation be beneficial to African continent development compared to the development models imposed by the West? Would the Chinese model be an alternative to the criticized traditional model of Western cooperation? Methodologically, the literature review and the analysis of some documents (the report of the Africa Progress Report and the report published by AfriMAP – Africa Governance, Monitoring and Advocacy Project) they are main support of the ideas that are sought to be defended in this text. | |
