Sin embargo, es importante no perder de vista las actividades que el crimen organizado desarrolla en ese continente; no sólo porque es una grave amenaza a la seguridad de los Estados y las personas, sino también porque sirve de financiamiento a grupos terroristas. En este contexto, el presente trabajo busca analizar el alcance del crimen organizado en España, país identificado como la ruta de ingreso a Europa de muchas de las organizaciones criminales, especialmente aquellas vinculadas con el tráfico de drogas. | |
| dc.description | Much has been discussed recently on the progress of terrorism in Europe and the impact on its security. However, it is important not to lose sight of the organized crime’s activities in that continent; not only because it is a serious threat to the states’ and people’s security, but also because it provides financing to terrorist groups. In this context, we seek to analyze the extent of organized crime in Spain. This country is identified as the entrance to Europe of many criminal organizations, especially those related to drug trafficking. | |
