Pesquería artesanal en la región La Libertad del 2017 – 2019

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general comparar los desembarques de pesca en la región La Libertad del 2017 - 2019. La información se obtuvo de los registros de la Gerencia Regional de la Producción de La Libertad. Correspondientes a los puertos: Pacasmayo, Malabrigo y Salaverry. Caletas: Huanchaco y Morín, entre los años 2017 a 2019. Los resultados encontrados indican que los volúmenes de pesca ha decrecido del 2017 al 2019, siendo el año de mayor volumen de desembarque el 2017 (7’763 193 kg). Los volúmenes de desembarque en la región La Libertad, variaron según las estaciones del año, en verano se presentó mayores desembarques (7’669 131 kg). El desembarque de la actividad pesquera artesanal, según el grupo taxonómico fue: 86.12% de peces; 7.04% de invertebrados y 6.83% de algas. Los recursos pesqueros más representativos según el volumen de captura fueron: Mugil cephalus “lisa” (4’558 028 kg), Scomber japonicus peruanus “caballa” (2’781 735 kg) y Sciaena deliciosa “lorna” (2’441 901 kg). Además, en La Libertad fue puerto Salaverry quien sustentó la pesca artesanal con 10’225 505 kg. Las artes, aparejo e instrumento de pesca más utilizado fueron la red de enmalle o cortina (58.88%), en los años 2017-2019. Y la CPUE (capacidad por unidad de esfuerzo) presento el valor más alto en el tipo de embarcación tipo lancha (10 431.59 kg/vt) en el año 2018 y dentro de cada año la estación de verano presenta los valores más altos.

The present research had the general objective of evaluating the artisanal fishery in the La Libertad region from 2017 - 2019. The information was obtained from the records of the Dirección Regional de Producción of La Libertad. Corresponding to the ports: Pacasmayo, Malabrigo and Salaverry and Las Caletas: Huanchaco and Puerto Morín, between the years 2017 to 2019. The results indicate that fishing volumes have decreased from 2017 to 2019, being the year with the highest volume of landing in 2017 (7'763 193 kg). Landing volumes in the La Libertad region varied according to the seasons of the year, in summer there were higher landings (7'669 131 kg). The landing of the artisanal fishing activity, according to the taxonomic group was: 86.12% of fish; 7.04% invertebrates and 6.83% algae. The most representative fishery resources according to the catch volume were: Mugil cephalus "lisa" (4'558 028 kg), Scomber japonicus peruanus "mackerel" (2'781 735 kg) and Sciaena deliciosa "lorna" (2'441 901 kg). In addition, in La Libertad, the Salaverry port supported the artisanal fishing with 10’225,505 kg. The most used fishing gear, and instrument were the gillnet or curtain (58.88%), in the years 2017-2019. And the Cpue (catch per unit of effort) presented the highest value in boats (10 431.59 kg / vt) in 2018 and within each year the summer season presents the highest values.
