Adherencia al tratamiento antihipertensivo en pacientes de un Hospital de Nivel III, septiembre 2019- marzo 2020

Abstract

El presente informe tiene como objetivo determinar el nivel de adherencia al tratamiento antihipertensivo en pacientes de consulta externa de un Hospital de Nivel III, setiembre 2019-marzo 2020. La muestra estuvo constituida por 63 pacientes, mayores de 18 años con tratamiento antihipertensivo mayor o igual a 1 mes que acudió ambulatoriamente por control de su presión arterial o alguna consulta asociada a ella, se recogieron los datos de interés,

para determinar la adherencia al tratamiento farmacológico mediante el Test de Morisky- Green-Levine. El procesamiento y análisis de datos se realizó utilizando el software

Microsoft Excel 2016. Del total de encuestas (63), el 61,90% pertenecen al sexo femenino, el 57,14% son mayores de 60 años, el 29% tienen hipercolesterolemia, el 19% diabetes mellitus II, el 46,09% toma el grupo farmacológico antihipertensivo Inhibidores de la Enzima Convertidora de Angiotensina para controlar la hipertensión arterial. Concluyéndose que el 25,4%, 39,7% y 34,9% de los pacientes presentan adherencia baja, media y alta al tratamiento antihipertensivo, respectivamente, al aplicar Test de Morisky- Green-Levine.

The objective of this report is to determine the level of adherence to antihypertensive treatment in outpatient patients of a Level III Hospital, September 2019-March 2020. Of the total of surveys (63), 61.90% belong to the female sex, 57.14% are older than 60 years, 29% have hypercholesterolemia, 19% diabetes mellitus II, 46.09% take the antihypertensive pharmacological group Angiotensin Converting Enzyme Inhibitors to control arterial hypertension. Concluding that 25.4%, 39.7% and 34.9% of the patients present low, medium and high adherence to antihypertensive treatment, respectively, when applying the Morisky-Green-Levine test.
