dc.description.abstract | The research "Biological and behavioral factors that condition the abandonment of sensitive TB treatment - Pacasmayo Network", whose objective is to determine the influence of biological factors: age, sex, RAMS, comorbidity and behavioral factors: alcoholism, cigarette consumption, distance to the facility, feeling better and work/studies/chores that condition the abandonment of treatment. The quantitative, descriptive and correlational research applied a survey conducted on a sample of 23 patients in a dropout condition treated in the Pacasmayo Network Health Facilities 2010 - 2021. The results obtained were processed in the IBM - SPSS version 26.0 program, a process that allowed the tabular and graphic presentation of the findings, in the same way the Chi-square test was used to confirm the existing relationship between the study variables. Through analysis, the following risk factors were found: work/studies/household chores (p = 0.021), consumption of alcoholic beverages (p = 0.019) and unpunctuality to receive treatment (p = 0.021), which expresses and evidences the significant relationship with the abandonment of treatment for sensitive TB.
