dc.description.abstractThe main objective of the research was to know the relationship between the psychological well-being, the coping styles and the academic performance of the students. The research was quantitative and correlational, the sample consisted of 369 university students from Lima, Peru. The results indicated that psychological well-being has a positive, significant and high correlation with problem-centered coping style and also with academic performance. It was reported that women have higher scores in psychological well-being and academic performance; likewise, it was evidenced that science majors use more strategies focused on problem solving.
