dc.descriptionGlobalization is a problem that can be understood from different angles, mainly as an economic and commercial factor; however, its expansion to other fields of life brings multiple advantages, but also has implications for 21st century societies. Culture is used as a mechanism of power to homogenize local cultures, as well as to use language to establish a language, a way of life, morality, customs, etc. Hence, the objective of this article is to analyze the use of language in globalized culture. To this end, some examples are used to show how language and culture have indeed crossed borders and become part of the social imaginary, causing a hybridization that touches on the components of national/cultural identity.  en-US
dc.descriptionLa globalización supone una problemática que puede ser entendida desde distintas aristas, principalmente como factor económico-comercial, sin embargo, su expansión a otros campos de la vida, atrae múltiples ventajas, pero también afectaciones a las sociedades del siglo XXI. La cultura utilizada como mecanismo de poder para homogeneizar a las culturas locales, así como servirse de la lengua para entronar un idioma, un estilo de vida, moralidad, costumbre, etc. De ahí, que el objetivo del presente artículo es realizar un análisis del uso del lenguaje en la cultura globalizada. Para este efecto se utilizan algunos ejemplos de cómo el lenguaje y la cultura, efectivamente, ha cruzado fronteras y se instala en el imaginario social provocando una hibridación que roza con los componentes de la identidad nacional/cultural.  es-ES
