| dc.description | The world where we live, defined by the class, gender and race variables, reproduces itself thanks to the production of a hegemonic image that reinforces these classifications. Cinema contributes to the production of these classification by means of what we call the «hegemonic image». There is, however, another kind of image that we call «critic» that breaks with the dominant representation by showing something that exceeds the class, gender and race classifications. We think that Lucrecia Martel’s cinema represents this kind of «critic image». Her cinema seeks to make sensible that reality that falls out from de dominant representation and, in this sense, is a critic of how the world is organized by the classist, patriarchal and racial point of view. | en-US |
| dc.description | El mundo en el que vivimos, definido según las variables de clase, género y raza, se reproduce gracias a la existencia de una imagen hegemónica que refuerza esas clasificaciones. El cine contribuye a producir este orden mediante lo que llamamos la «imagen hegemónica». Existe sin embargo otro tipo de imagen, que llamamos «crítica», que rompe con la representación dominante poniendo en la imagen aquello que desborda a las clasificaciones de la clase, el género y la raza. Creemos que el cine de Lucrecia Martel se inscribe en esta imagen crítica. Su cine busca hacer sensible aquello que cae por fuera de la representación dominante y, en este sentido, es una crítica a cómo el mundo está organizado desde el punto de vista clasista, patriarcal y racial. | es-ES |
