dc.description.abstractThis research work aims to identify the strategic position that Wells Fargo currently has within the financial sector. This study allowed to know the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the company. The tools that are used to carry out the diagnosis of Wells Fargo are the SWOT, considered as starting point for the realization of the following matrices; Competitive profile matrix (MPC), Sees analysis of strong competitive analysis of Wells Fargo, Matrix of evaluation of the internal factor (MEFI), analysis of the internal factor of the company its strengths and weaknesses, Matrix of strategic positioning and evaluation (PEEA) , A quantitative study was carried out to determine the strategic position of the company, Quantitative matrix of strategic planning (MCPE), alternative strategies were made to achieve the company. Through the development of these matrices we identify external and internal factors that allow taking into account the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats with the accounts to determine the strategic position of the company. The results obtained through the use of these matrices determine that the study company is in an aggressive strategic position. The company in the financial sector is solid and has been a relevant competitive advantage in the banking market.
