dc.description.abstractThis case analysis focuses on the analysis of the Cocoa Revival project executed by the MAGAP in the gold of the year 2012 to 2016, located on the southern coast of Ecuador, has as main objective to evaluate the sustainability through indicators Economic-productive in the execution of the project of reactivation of the fine cacao of aroma, for this case we worked with farmers beneficiaries of the project that have an average age of 53 years and the following objectives were posed: to diagnose the situation Current of the producers in the implementation of the project through productive economic indicators. To establish the level of sustainability of the beneficiaries of the project. To carry out this research, we used the review of statistics, censuses, credible and certified information of scientific articles and Web pages of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of the central government. The method of measuring the MESMIS sustainability was put into practice, the findings of the survey carried out we have that the producers have poor academic level of preparation and a low insertion of professionals in the agricultural sector, it can be deduced that the National cocoa producers who are organized take advantage at the moment of the sale of their product, since these sell at an average price of $110 thanks to that they have contract signed with foreign companies in comparison to the producers that are not associated, They also mentioned the cocoa that since childhood their predecessors taught them the management and care of the production and over the years with the experience obtained in an empirical way took the reins of the production of cocoa, also it is observed that they realize Additional work different from the cocoa production to obtain the income, among those the sale of chickens and eggs Creole and the sale of fruits that sow in the same premises, also it is verified that in the last years I indicated the technicians that the squirrel It is already generating damage in production and if you do not take precautions could quickly become a nuisance, also noticed that they have to go to sell their products to intermediaries for an average price of $90, it has been noticed that the MAG is H A linked very well at the time of giving lectures and technical trainings, if it is necessary commitment on the part of the farmers at the time of giving the respective maintenance and care to the production and finally it was deduced that the pruning in the cultivation has helped to increase the product Ctividad on average of 6 quintals, but it is necessary to take into account that only one pruning is done a year, as a conclusion I have to say that it is difficult to reach a balance of sustainability with the beneficiaries of the project of revival of fine cacao of aroma that is in E Studio, the lack of study reaches a value of 2.15, training and training of producers reaches a value of 1.42, in addition to the average age of 53 years, all this hinders the process because decision making are based on experience lived and not developing or n previous analysis, the only high value this system has is in the associativity indicator with 3.85.
