dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research work is to prepare a cause - effect diagram, also known as Ishikawa diagram or fishbone, which aims to reveal the causes that generate discomfort with different problems that exist within a company. The aforementioned diagram has been applied in the restaurant called Rosso pastas & vinos, located in the city of Machala, with the intention of knowing what are the causes that cause problems in the internal communication of the company, getting to detail them thanks to the qualitative method, in which the technique of participant observation and interview was applied, getting to obtain key answers to determine the main problem, which is a breach in effective communication, where they are not clear about certain aspects that are reported to the company generating This way conflicts between the staff. It should be noted that thanks to the ISO 9001 standards, it is determined how to carry out the processes within the company so that it is of quality and also the services or products that are offered, being this one a guide for the elaboration of the work, and also taking into account the Deming cycle or also known as the PHVA cycle. According to the results of the diagram, an improvement plan has been established in which alternatives for the reduction of these shortcomings are reflected and in this way the services they offer satisfy the needs of the customers who visit the restaurant.
