The implementation of the MQTT protocol allows centralizing the sending and receiving of messages to a single device called broker, in order to distribute, visualize and consolidate changes in the status of the sensors, the broker is installed on the Raspberry Pi microprocessor board using Raspbian operating system, which communicates to the local area network via Wi-Fi. MQTT manages a publisher and subscriber system to collect digital or analog data produced by the motion, tactile, magnetic field, and temperature and humidity sensors. To use the resources of the board, an application was written in Python to perform the role of a publisher that sends the messages and stores the information in the SQLite database. Depending on the availability of active sensors in the network, the data is sent in real time to the server, any device can perform the role of subscriber and visualizes the information obtained from the data generated within each of the sensors without having to be directly connected to them, but only to the MQTT broker in the network.
